SUBODH BHAVE

Subodh Bhave, born 11 April 1979, is one of contemporary Marathi cinema's most prominent actor-directors, known for his historical biopics and versatile screen presence.

Bhave is based in Mumbai, where he runs his production house and continues to direct and act in major Marathi film projects.

He earned widespread acclaim for portraying the legendary stage performer Bal Gandharva in the biopic of the same name, and has gone on to direct several successful period dramas.
