Ajinkya Rahane, born 6 June 1988, moved to Mumbai as a teenager to pursue cricket, going on to become one of the city's most accomplished domestic and international players.
A product of the Mumbai cricket ecosystem, Rahane has represented the Mumbai team in the Ranji Trophy for years, embodying the city's famed 'khadoos' batting tradition.
