JASPRIT BUMRAH

Jasprit Bumrah, born on 6 December 1993 in Ahmedabad, is widely considered the best bowler in the world. Discovered by Mahela Jayawardene and joined Mumbai Indians in IPL, his unorthodox action and lethal yorker quickly made him indispensable to both franchise and country.

His ability to bowl deadly yorkers at the death, generate reverse swing and take wickets in all three formats has made him the most complete fast bowler India has ever produced. He became India's T20 captain temporarily in 2022.

He married sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan in March 2021 and the couple welcomed son Agastya in 2023. Despite multiple injuries requiring back surgeries, Bumrah has returned each time stronger and more lethal.
