If youโre craving authentic, no-frills South Indian food in Juhu, Sri Annapoorna Cafe is an absolute gem. The menu is refreshingly simple, but every item delivers on taste, quality, and authenticity. The sambhar is rich, perfectly spiced, and feels like itโs straight out of a traditional South Indian kitchen. The benne podi masala dosa is a standoutโcrispy on the outside, generously layered with butter, and packed with flavorful podi that hits just right. The idli with rasam is comfort in a plateโsoft, fluffy idlis paired with a tangy, soul-warming rasam that youโll want to keep sipping. And the vada? Crisp on the outside, soft inside, and absolutely worth the hype. What really sets this place apart is how it sticks to its rootsโno unnecessary gimmicks, just honest, traditional flavors done right. Add to that the pocket-friendly pricing, and youโve got a spot thatโs truly worth every rupee. Simple menu, authentic taste, and consistently good foodโdefinitely a must-visit for South Indian lovers.

Good place, good food. We ordered 2 Dosas and 1 plate Medhu vada. Food was good, and affordable as well. Good part is, it was quite so me and my friend sat and talked well (unlike crowdy restaurants).

Only one word - Pathetic. One star because coffee was the only thing sorted at this cafe. Starting from lousy staff to stale dosa batter and chutney. The least one expects at a South Indian cafe is to get decent fresh batter or a chutney. Ghee roast dosa tasted weird and the Chutney portion served was funny had to call for it again. Just a touch and it would have been done with probably because it was so bad and watered they themselves don't serve it. The staff even after I paid for my food when I ordered the moment I was done with it came running behind me to check whether I paid. They don't even have credit card or give a bill. Filter coffee is the only thing that was good. Was shocked with the quality considering such good reviews. Overpriced for their service and food both.

Itโs very rare I give review to cafรฉs or restaurants, but Sri Annapoorna Cafe -100% deserves to be heard around. The food is so tasty, dosas are so yummy. First time I tried Benne Masala Dosa - I fell in love, the crunchyness, rightly made on pan. the Adrak chai here is just best in Juhu. Chutneys here will definitely remind you of your gaaon wali chutney. So so good. Please do visit and try once, highly recommended for taste, value for money and authentic foods. Clean place, very hospitable staff - I keep coming ever since I moved to Juhu.

We recently discovered this amazing place near Juhu and we ordered medu vada and benne masala dosa. The food quality was amazing and hygiene was top notch. The staff and owner was prompt in customising the order to make it 100% vegan and oil free. Highly recommended!
