Very disappointing experience at South Tiffin House near Mira Road Station. Today I visited the restaurant to have Thatte Idli. Since the idli portion is quite large, I politely requested some extra chutney. Instead of responding respectfully, the staff spoke rudely and told me that extra chutney would not be provided unless I paid extra. I had already paid for my meal and was not asking for anything for free. What disappointed me the most was not the extra charge, but the rude and disrespectful attitude of the staff. Customers deserve to be treated politely, especially when making a simple request. The food may be good, but customer service and behavior are equally important. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression, and I felt unwelcome. I hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and improves the way customers are treated.

Their Benne Dosa and even the Benne Masala Dosa is tooo...
Their Benne Dosa and even the Benne Masala Dosa is tooo good! It can put all those overhyped dosa chains to shame. It’s my go to breakfast spot near mira road station whenever I’m craving Dosa or Ghee Podi Thatte Idli. Love their coconut chutney and even the sambhar is good, not too sweet like some places usually make. I always pair my meals with their Masala chaas and it’s the perfect combo!

Filter coffee was good but a tad bit milky for my taste. The medu vada plate was good enough, however the sambhar and chutney were slightly off putting as they didn't seem fresh. The seating is limited (2-3 tables). Service is normal-paced.
