This puppy is a stray from my society who was found sick and left to die. When I came to know about her, I took her to a nearby hospital who did some tests and said that she might die as she has parvo disease and were not ready to keep her. I could not take her home as i have 2 cats and I did not want to give up on her as well. So one of my friends recommended me to speak to Ms.Jhanvi from Sharanam Animal Welfare Centre. When I spoke to Jhanvi, she heard all the details and immediately asked me to get the pup to her shelter. There was no hesitation from her side to help us. Once I got the pup to her, she examined her state and said she will take care of her as her own..I don't have words to express my gratitude to Ms.Jhanvi who came as a ray of hope for me when I wasnt able to understand what to do with the pup,. I had no heart to leave her to die. I thank Ms. Jhanvi for taking the pup in and caring for her and now with the care given, the pup (now named MISHTI by Jhanvi) has not only survived but is doing great at the shelter. As Mishti is small Ms. Jhanvi has agreed to take care of her till she gets older or gets adopted. Once again thank you Ms. Jhanvi and Sharanam Animal Welfare Centre and my heartfelt gratitude for this amazing work that you are doing for the voiceless. 🙏

I had a truly positive experience with Sharanam Animal Care and Rescue Center. I rescued a 3-month-old indie female dog named Uma who had a head injury, and I was fostering her along with my senior male indie dog. Managing both dogs together became quite challenging due to their age difference and needs. That’s when I found Sharanam, and I’m genuinely grateful I did. The center is very well-organized and takes care of dogs of all breeds with great dedication. The person managing the center is highly attentive and ensures every dog’s health and safety is properly looked after. What really stood out to me was the professionalism and compassion of the staff. They have doctors who ensure timely vaccinations and proper medical care, and everyone is polite, approachable, and clearly passionate about animal welfare. I would highly recommend Sharanam to anyone looking for a safe and caring place for rescued or foster animals. They truly make a difference.
