I had a very concerning experience at Anuradha Gas Station...
I had a very concerning experience at Anuradha Gas Station (Indian Oil), JVLR Andheri East. On 15 June 2026, I filled petrol and the staff initially told me the bill amount was around โน3,491. I was surprised because I had observed the meter and expected the amount to be around โน2,700. After questioning them, they produced a bill showing โน3,391, and I ended up paying the amount through UPI. Later, when I reached home and checked the receipt carefully, I noticed that the receipt time was 20:41, whereas my UPI payment was made at 21:13. This clearly indicated that the receipt did not belong to my transaction. I immediately returned to the petrol pump, and after discussion, the staff admitted it was a "mistake" and refunded the excess amount. What makes this even more suspicious is that during a previous visit, I witnessed another customer arguing that petrol had not been filled into his vehicle despite being charged. Such incidents raise serious concerns about transparency and customer trust. Customers should carefully verify the meter reading, receipt details, and transaction amount before making payment. The management and authorities should investigate these repeated complaints and take strict action if any fraudulent practices are found. I have preserved the receipt and payment proof and will continue to raise this issue with the appropriate authorities if necessary. Date of Incident: 15 June 2026 Location: Anuradha Gas Station, JVLR, Andheri East, Mumbai #IndianOil #ConsumerRights #FuelFraud #Mumbai #PetrolPumpComplaint

Hereโs a strong and concise social media post combining both incidents: This is the SECOND suspicious incident Iโve faced at Anuradha Petrol Pump (Indian Oil), JVLR Mumbai. Earlier this month, I asked for petrol worth โน5000, but only around โน4200 was filled while a higher bill was shown. After confronting them, the manager admitted the mistake and issued a corrected bill. Again, day before yesterday, I asked for fuel worth โน1000, but they initially filled only โน200 and claimed the filling was complete. When I questioned why my fuel indicator had barely moved and demanded the manager, they quietly filled more petrol. This pattern looks extremely unethical and misleading. Customers, especially women and senior citizens, should stay alert and always check the meter and fuel level carefully. Requesting Indian Oil to investigate this petrol pump seriously before more customers get cheated.
I usually prefer filling petrol at Indian Oil petrol pumps,...
I usually prefer filling petrol at Indian Oil petrol pumps, but yesterday I had a rather disappointing experience. While returning home, I stopped at this petrol station to fill fuel in my car. The man filling the petrol suddenly started asking, โWhere in UP are you from?โ At first, we thought he was speaking to someone else, but when he repeated the question, Arvind โ my brotherโs friend who was driving โ replied, โVaranasi.โ After that, he continued asking more personal questions, and in the middle of the conversation, he suddenly said, โAuto cut ho gaya hai.โ We had asked for petrol worth โน1005, but when I looked carefully, the meter had already shown two lines before the filling even started. He then claimed the machine had auto-cut at โน840 and returned the remaining amount because I had already paid โน1005 in advance. Even while returning the balance, the amount was โน5 short. What felt even stranger was that once we started driving, the fuel indicator in the car barely moved up. Only God knows what actually happened. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling cheated and deeply disappointed. It is sad how, at times, people compromise their honesty and integrity for such small gains. Trust is something customers carry with them when they stop at a fuel station, and once broken, it leaves a very unpleasant feeling behind. Ironically, my name is also Anuradha, and coincidentally, the gas station was called โAnuradha Gas Station.โ
