Our Wadhwani family have been regular visitors here, ever since our children joined H.M.P.School in 2000-2001. We visited here for lunch today after a long gap of nearly 7/8 years. Pleasantly inviting as always, the management is constantly involved in seating the customers, guiding the stewards and waiters to unattended tables, especially during rush hours, thereby raising the standards of hospitality to a new high. They have both AC (higher prices) and non-AC sections. Waiting time for AC usually is 15 minutes or more, unless you reach early by 12.15 or 12.30 pm for lunch. We chose the non-AC with good overhead fans, since we were hungry and it was nearly 2 pm. A heartfelt thanks to Sanjay and his colleagues for the impeccable service provided today and attention to detail. We had a mix of Cheese Pav Bhaji, Puri Bhaji, Benne Masala Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa and Mysore Masala Dosa with a side order of Sweet Lassi for all. Each item was served hot, with the regular accompaniments, onion, lime, specially requested pickle, hot sambhar and coconut chutney. They serve cold Distilled water in Stainless steel glasses, which bypasses the need for any bottled mineral water. Good quality tissues and an easily accessible washbasin make it convenient for clean up after a finger licking, palate tickling vegetarian meal. Being 100% vegetarian is the added advantage here. They accept all kinds of payments with no extra surcharge or service charges. The regulatory 5% GST is added to your bill amount. A good hearty meal for five cost us less than 1500 including tips. Even if you are very hungry and are good eaters, surely you won't spend more than 400-450 per person at this absolutely genuine vegetarian restaurant catering mostly to the College and school kids, especially during day time and the locals living in Andheri West, especially in the evenings.
