Visited the Khar outlet recently and absolutely loved the whole experience 🫶🏻 The café has such a warm and cozy vibe with a perfect blend of authentic South Indian flavours and modern café aesthetics. Every dish felt comforting, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. We started with the Cheese Onion Uttappa which was soft, perfectly cooked, and loaded with cheese without overpowering the authentic taste. The Mutuswami Special Benne Dosa with paneer was honestly one of the highlights 🤤 crispy on the outside, buttery, rich, and filled generously with flavourful paneer stuffing. The Ghee Roast Mushroom with Appam was another standout dish. The appams were soft and fluffy while the mushroom preparation had a beautiful spicy South Indian flavour that paired so well together. We also tried the Paneer Cheese Grilled Sandwich which was super cheesy, crisp, and comforting. For drinks, the Chikoo Milkshake was thick, creamy, and refreshing, while the Kala Khatta Cooler from their summer specials was tangy, nostalgic, and perfect for the Mumbai heat. Ended the meal with Mango Sheera and it was the sweetest ending possible 🤌🏻 warm, rich, and full of mango flavour without being overly sweet. Loved the quality, presentation, ambience, and overall experience. Definitely a place I’d love visiting again for comforting South Indian food with a modern twist.

Absolutely loved my experience at muttuswami Khar🌟 Started with the refreshing Kala Khatta and Aam Panna coolers — both were perfect for the Mumbai heat. The Ghee Podi Idli was super soft and flavourful, while the Masala Benne Dosa was buttery, crisp and delicious. For mains, the Ghee Roast Mushroom with Appam and Chettinad Biryani were packed with authentic flavours and tasted amazing. Ended the meal with Payasam and Vanilla Gelato which made for the perfect dessert combo. Great food, comforting flavours and an overall amazing dining experience. Highly recommended!

Visited Mutuswami Cafe in Khar and really enjoyed the overall experience. The place has a simple, casual vibe but serves a wide variety of dishes—from authentic South Indian options to Mumbai street-style favourites. The benne dosa stood out with its crispy texture and buttery flavour, while the idli was soft and fresh. The cheese pav bhaji and mushroom sukha combo added a nice desi touch to the meal. The mango milkshake and mango sheera were rich, sweet, and perfect to end on a high note. Service was quick, though it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. Overall, it’s a great place for breakfast or a casual meal with good food and decent pricing. Would definitely visit again.
