Easily one of the best Japanese dining experiences in Mumbai! The ramen broth here is incredibly rich and comforting, absolute perfection. We loved the Edamame Truffle Gyoza and the Softshell Crab Roll, both packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The vibe is lively and sophisticated, making it an amazing spot for a special night out. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful with recommendations. Don't skip dessert; the Japanese cheesecake is a must! Make sure to book a table well in advance.

Overpriced, overhyped, and shockingly arrogant Mizu is sold as a top luxury restaurant in Mumbai, with visits from celebrities and the affluent, but the experience last night was a complete letdown. Even the interiors felt like a missed opportunity, far from the polished, premium vibe the pricing suggests. We spent ₹17,600+ on small plates and drinks, and most of the food was average at best, nothing you wouldn’t get at a regular Asian restaurant. The service was HORRENDOUS. We were warned three times before arriving that we must vacate the table by 9:30 PM, and then reminded multiple times again during dinner. It felt like we were being rushed out from the moment we sat down. Service was slow and sloppy, and we had to constantly ask them to clear used plates and bowls. They even forgot our order. We were even asked repeatedly to return the menu, as if they don’t have enough menus to run a “premium” restaurant. The most unbelievable part: when my friend considered ordering another glass of wine, the steward (Vijay) actually said, “It’s better you don’t order.” For a place charging these prices, the attitude is unacceptable. The service is abysmal. Mizu cares more about table turnover than hospitality. What makes such places arrogant in an Indian city with a culture that is driven with hospitality and warmth? Never again, Mizu. I’m taking my hard-earned money where the service, atmosphere, food quality, and overall experience is commensurate!

The food is delicious, no-nonsense good. The Dragon roll sushi is fresh and tasty, the Hamachi with Ponzo could be better. The pork belly bao is soft, the meat tender, and the flavour, spot-on. The spicy prawn Donburi is a burst of smoky spicy flavours and the mini pork ramen, just as comforting as a ramen should be with 2 large strips of pork. Both, highly recommended! The Hazelnut cacao was the perfect sweet n salty dessert to wrap up the meal. I would have given them 5*, but for two things. One, they try to fill up the ground floor and misrepresent facts about the AC malfunctioning on the 1st floor. And even if you feel uncomfortable (which I did), they will not let you move to a better table. We went in early, yet were made to sit in a cramped corner beside the bar and washroom which made it quite noisy and not the best seats. This was our second visit, and on both occasions the restaurant acted out with the seating Second, you are on the Conde Nast list, the basic serving etiquette that is expected is that you don’t pile all the food together on the table. One can ask the patron whether everything is expected in one go or simply bring the food as different courses. Sadly, not at Mizu!

Nice sushi place with good quality fish. All the vegetarian and fish sushi’s we ordered were nice. The place also has a large cocktail selection to choose from. Generally the atmosphere is nice but it’s not cozy for something like an intimate dinner or so. However, it was the perfect dinner place for me and my group of 5 friends. Definitely worth a visit if you are on the lookout for a good sushi place.

I had such an amazing experience. Everything from the sushis to ramen was top notch. Loved the pork broth, the katsu chicken rolls, the chicken gyoza, the non-alcoholic cocktails and the desserts! Especially the desserts! The server was Joshua who was exceptional! Always smiling and super friendly. ❤️
