Been here on multiple occasions and it's always our go to spot for sushi in Bandra. They have a fantastic selection of cocktails to choose from and we always go with the hamachi, unagi, chutoro nigiri/maki along with 1-2 robata grills (tenderloin and snapper are really good). The sushi is always fresh and service is pretty quick. The staff is also very friendly and were able to accomodate us even without any reservation.

Went here on a Sunday for lunch without any reservation, and we immediately got seating by the live sushi counter, which was surprisingly cozy. The ambience of the place is simple but pretty, just how a japanese restaurant should be. We tried a sushi, gyoza, yakitori chicken and udon noodles, and although everything tasted great, nothing really stood out as outstanding. The thing is that these days there are several multi-cuisine/asian restaurants who also serve good authentic japanese dishes, which thus reduces the novelty factor of an authentic japanese-only restaurant, although the menu is wider here. The service here is excellent, and the prices are also reasonable. Valet parking is available. Overall there's no negative about the place and it's definitely worth visiting.

Visited Izumi Bandra recently and had a good overall experience. The food was tasty, well-presented, and had an authentic Japanese feel. The ambience was also quite nice and perfect for a relaxed meal. However, the service was a bit slow, and the place does feel slightly expensive for the portion sizes. That said, the quality of the food makes up for it to an extent. A good spot to try if you enjoy Japanese cuisine and don’t mind spending a little extra. Table booking is kinda a task, so just walked in at 7 pm on a weekday, got a place at the sushi counter :p

Visited Izumi and honestly, didn’t get the hype Imagine spending a good amount here and constantly being nudged by the waitress asking us to place our “last order” in a hurry when it’s only 9:30pm Highly disappointing! Food was decent Will definitely visit again to have the Hamachi Truffle Ponzu and the Sugoi Maki The Crispy Smoked Pork Belly is worth a try while the Pork Tonkotsu Ramen can be skipped The spider roll was palatable and the Matcha mocktail was just alright Overall, a 7/10 for food Ambience - 6.5/10 Service - 5/10

Recently visited Izumi, Bandra — a popular spot with good food options and a lively vibe. The place has ample seating, but it was quite full when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. We tried the crispy edamame avocado — the portion size was good. The rice was slightly sticky, but other than that, the sushi was tasty. We also had a fresh orange juice, which was refreshing and good. The staff is very polite, smiling, and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. Overall, a nice place to explore for good food and a buzzing atmosphere.
