Spent ₹3400 on food that was bland and disappointing. There was barely any taste just saltless fish. Honestly, it feels like it’s all hype and no results now. I used to visit during my college days, but now it seems more about Instagram posts than the actual food. The service in the car was good, but the behavior of the older man in the white shirt at the counter was questionable and quite disappointing. I guess this is what happens when business grows too much ... respect for customers starts disappearing. Maybe that’s why the taste of the food has disappeared too. My in-laws loved this place and used to visit frequently, but my first visit with them was ruined because of the unmannered attitude at the cash counter. Sorry, but we won’t be coming back. What a waste.

Jai Jawan has been one of my favourite places in Bandra for years, and it continues to deliver every single time. The Prawns Punjabi Fry is an absolute standout — juicy, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. It’s one of those dishes that keeps bringing you back. The Seekh Kebabs have been consistently top-notch for over two decades, which is a testament to the kitchen’s consistency and quality. And then comes the Butter Chicken — rich, indulgent, and simply outstanding. Easily among the best I’ve had. What I appreciate most is that despite its popularity over the years, the food quality has remained remarkably consistent. For me, it’s hard to think of a better place in Bandra for non-vegetarian food. If you’re a meat lover, Jai Jawan is a place you simply shouldn’t miss. 👍🍗🦐🔥

Not worth the price or the hype. Saw it on Instagram hence visited the place. Had basa fish and prawns fry. The batter / coating is not that flavourful. Neither is the green chatni full of flavor. The fish and prawns do have a juicy inside, but i felt that the prawns were under cooked. The prawns made the sound of biting into flesh, iykyk. Hygiene is well maintained, they used eco friendly cutlery wich is a plus, service is promt and good thanks to the small menu. Over all it will be a one time visit. There are options around where they charge the same and have a place to sit.
