We were planning to visit JW Mariott at Juhu as it has a reputation of having really good ambience. The fireballs that greet you at the gate and more at pool side, everything screams luxury. The interiors are very well done, suits a 5 star hotel. Only thing they didn't allow restaurant guests to visit the poolside which was a terrible loss. We went for dinner buffet at Lotus Cafe. It was 3200+ taxes per person and free for kids below 5 years. The selection of dishes and live counters were good. But I think they lacked popular starters like Chicken Tikka or Tandoori. It was more towards continental style with grilled fish, etc. The live pizza is a must try! The pasta has lot to improve, as I've had better pasta from cheaper joints. The kathi rolls were not exciting. I'd suggest them to add momos or dumplings as it is better suited to the menu. The dessert section was overwhelming with icecreams, pastries and Indian Sweets like Rasmalai, Kaju roll, etc. It was all very good. However I would ask them to avoid multiple cakes and give some variety like Jalebi, cupcakes, eclair, etc. On service front, it was amazing with very attentive and cheerful staff who caters to every need. Considering the cost, I would not recommend the buffet, but you can definitely come to dine. Best suited for evening with a good view of the pool.

I booked a large table to take my family out for a nice lunch buffet. The staff was very helpful and provided everything we needed. The spread, quality, and ambience were all perfect. Special thanks to Pankaj who made the arrangements ahead of time.

Okay, visited Lotus Cafe again, this time for breakfast. My previous view of this place might have been a bit biased, with all the promptness we've received in regular restaurants, I compared it with this one. But today, with lovely breakfast, tbh, the medu wada was a surprise, all of theses guys work really hard, running about trying to satisfy everyone. Thank you for your time and service ! Recommended - south indian. Shout-out to Pankaj and Keith and Mahi for their 5 star level customer service. Will visit again !
