SHAH RUKH KHAN

Shah Rukh Khan — affectionately known as SRK or the King of Bollywood — is one of the most recognised and beloved entertainers in the world. Born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi, he began his acting career with television before making his Bollywood debut in Deewana (1992).

SRK moved to Mumbai in the early 1990s with little more than ambition. His home, Mannat — an iconic sea-facing bungalow on Bandstand in Bandra West — has become one of the most photographed addresses in India, a landmark as synonymous with Mumbai as Marine Drive.

Beyond acting, Shah Rukh Khan built an empire. He co-owns Red Chillies Entertainment and holds a stake in Kolkata Knight Riders. In 2023, SRK made a spectacular comeback with back-to-back blockbusters — Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki.
