His timing, command of Marathi language and ability to connect with audiences across Maharashtra is unparalleled. Whether in comedy or drama, Prashant Damle's performances regularly result in standing ovations and sold-out halls.

He has received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, India's highest honour for performing arts, and continues to perform across Maharashtra to this day — a living institution of Marathi theatre.
