ATUL KULKARNI

Atul Kulkarni, born 10 September 1965, trained at the National School of Drama before becoming one of Indian cinema's most respected character actors, gaining wide recognition with Rang De Basanti (2006).

Kulkarni has been based in Mumbai's Andheri area for years, balancing high-profile film roles with a deep commitment to Marathi theatre.

His role as Laxman Pandey in Rang De Basanti earned him a Filmfare nomination, and his Marathi theatre work, particularly Gandhi Viruddh Gandhi, remains a landmark of the stage.
