I visited Fresh Catch on 4 June 2026 and it was excellent! I asked the bartender to create me a great custom drink and he exceeded my expectations with refreshing and unique creations. My waiter, Lawrence, was extremely helpful in bombil suggestions as well as sourcing from off menu fish. Try Fresh Catch you won’t be disappointed with the drinks, food or service. Ask for Lawrence!

Visited Fresh Catch by Francis recently after hearing a lot about it and honestly came back with mixed feelings. We tried - Mushroom Butter Garlic was decent, nothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either. Bombil Rava Fry was probably the better dish of the lot. Crispy, tasty, and enjoyable. Bangda Ambotic Curry was good, but felt like a standard Goan curry. Not something I’d go back specifically for. Crab Meat Spicy Masala. It was more like a regular seafood bhurji than a standout crab dish. Now where close to justifying the exorbitant price being charged. Pomfret Hara Bhara Tawa Fry. The biggest letdown. The fish didn’t feel particularly fresh, the taste was quite average, and the pricing for a small medium sized portion felt just too steep. For that kind of money (or even less) you can easily get a proper wholesome seafood thali elsewhere. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, just pretty underwhelming for the pricing and hype. Maybe Goan flavors are intentionally subtler and my palate leans more towards Konkani/Malvani seafood. If I’m spending that kind of money on seafood in Mumbai, places like Nav Chaitanya and Gajalee still set the benchmark for me in terms of flavor, consistency and value.
