Royal China has been around long enough to become one of those restaurants that people in the city trust when it comes to Asian food. And that trust is well earned! The food is consistently really good. Love the dim sums, Crispy prawn Cheung Fun and the wonton soup here. Nothing feels perfunctory. Also the crispy aromatic duck is a regular highlight for many, and so is the crab fried rice. The space is elegant, unpretentious, and consistently good and reliable every time.

Royal China is the kind of place that makes you feel underdressed even when you are dressed well. The ambience is classy without trying too hard, dim lighting, elegant interiors, and the sort of atmosphere where people suddenly start speaking 20 percent softer. It has that proper fine dining energy where even the water arrives looking expensive. The food absolutely holds up to the reputation. The menu is extensive, packed with authentic Chinese dishes that actually taste refined instead of just aggressively spicy. The dim sums are a standout, and the overall quality of ingredients is noticeable from the first bite itself. Service is polished and attentive without hovering over your table every two minutes asking if โeverything is okay.โ They know what they are doing, which makes the whole experience feel smooth. Yes, it is expensive. The bill arrives with enough confidence to remind you this is not your local takeaway spot. But unlike many overpriced fine dining places, this one at least gives you the feeling that your money went somewhere meaningful. Final verdict: Elegant, reliable, and consistently good. Come for the food, stay for the feeling of temporarily having your life together.

For lovers of authentic Chinese cuisine, Royal China offers a refined and memorable dining experience, combining elegant ambiance with thoughtfully curated flavors. I began with their mocktails โ the Jade Green Cooler and Pearl of the Orient. Both were beautifully presented and refreshingly balanced, with subtle yet distinct flavor profiles that made them perfect palate openers. The starters truly set the tone for the meal. The Spicy Lotus Root stood out with its crisp texture and bold seasoning, delivering a satisfying crunch in every bite. The Crispy Silken Tofu with Sweet Chilli Sauce was equally impressive โ delicately crisp on the outside while remaining soft and silky within, complemented by a flavorful sweet and mildly spicy glaze. Moving on to the main course, the Burnt Chilli Garlic Noodles were rich, aromatic, and packed with deep, smoky flavors that lingered pleasantly. Paired with this were the Steamed Wontons in Spicy Sauce, which were light yet indulgent, coated in a well-balanced sauce that added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. The experience concluded on a decadent note with the Chocolate Dome dessert โ a visually stunning and indulgent creation that perfectly balanced richness and sweetness, making it a delightful end to the meal. Overall, Royal China stands out as a sophisticated destination for those seeking high-quality Chinese cuisine, where each dish is crafted with attention to detail and flavor harmony.

Visited Royal China which is 10 mnts ride from Bandra station. We had a really nice premium dining experience. The ambience is so soothing, dim lights and soft music. We tried the Prawns Cheung Fung, Egg Fried Rice, Prawns in Hot Garlic Sauce, and Sizzling Brownie everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Ended our meal with a sizzling brownie which was amazing. The brownie was so gooey, filled with walnuts. The entire team provided great hospitality. Special thanks to Leiya - very polite and attentive, and manager Arjun was extremely welcoming, making our dining experience worth remembering. Overall, a great experience.

Had a lovely dinner at Royal China. The ambience is calm, classy and very comfortable. We loved the Coconut Pearl and Pearl of the Orient drinks. Spicy prawn wontons were my favourite starter. Satay chicken and truffle tenderloin were full of flavour. Chicken Hakka noodles were perfectly cooked and comforting. The crรจme brรปlรฉe was a perfect way to end the meal. Great food quality and presentation. Definitely a nice place for a relaxed dinner or date night.
