Visited this place after a college dance party with my friends. We were extremely tired and just wanted a good meal near Bandra station, so we decided to try Hakka Mama since it was nearby. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. 😞 The service was extremely slow — we literally had to call the waiter again and again just to place our order. It honestly felt like they were doing us a favor by serving food. While waiting, we also noticed multiple rats running around inside the restaurant, which was very unhygienic and uncomfortable. 🐀 Since we were exhausted, we still decided to stay, hoping the food would arrive soon. But the wait time was unbelievable. We entered at around 8:30 PM and didn't get our food until much later. We ended up leaving at around 12 AM — nearly 3.5 hours spent for a simple dinner. ⏰ Overall: • Very poor service • Extremely long waiting time • Hygiene issues (rats inside restaurant) • Huge waste of time Would not recommend, especially if you're hungry or short on time. Very disappointing experience. 👎

Updated review: We visited the place again this weekend and experienced much better service. Happy that the management has taken a positive step towards this customer feedback. I walked into this place with zero expectations, since this is just out of the bandra west railway station. I was hoping it to be more of a small chinese bhakda/outlet. But believe me the place is old school, big and nicely done. The service was below average, we were the only family sitting and yet we dint have service staff to attend to us properly but im ready to overlook this one flaw cause the food dint disappoint. We ordered the burnt garlic soup, Korean spicy noodles, fried rice and chicken chilli. It's authentic desi bombay chinese. So glad we found this place, the food is 🤩
