A Jain Temple, whereby presiding deity of Tirthankar Munisuvrat Swami in black color, is seated in a lotus posture, of height 1.25 meters in a shrine at Chal Peth in the village of Agashi. The idol which had manifested itself here in the Chakreลvar lake, Nala-Sopara belongs to remote past. It was ceremonially installed once again in the newly constructed temple here on Falgun Krishna 2 in Vikram year 1892 by Shri Motisha Sheth. There is a dharamshala close to the temple with all facilities and a bhojanshala for dry snacks and meals too.

For senior citizen, physically handicap is not good and attitude of management is horrible for primary care no TOILETS available. I checkout and have to go for washroom I was asked to go other side which was beyond my comfort. Management should be responsible.

The temple is home to an 11.5 lakh-year-old ancient idol of Shri Munisuvrat Swami, also known as Jivit Swami, believed to be from the time of the Tirthankara himself. This sacred idol holds great historical and spiritual importance. In front of the main temple is a small shrine of Kshetrapalji (Deri), near which lies a large well that contains turtles and fish, symbolically linked to Swamiโs lanchhan (turtle ๐ข). The main temple is grand and beautifully built, with a sacred tree at the entrance adding to the divine atmosphere. Devotees are well accommodated with AC Dharamshala rooms, and the temple is especially crowded on Saturdays.

Itโs an Old (เคชเฅเคฐเคพเคเฅเคจ) Jain Derasar which is recently re-built. The idol of 19th Tirthankar Shri Munissuvrat Swami is made from sand (เคฐเฅเคคเฅ) & itโs very ancient. The 2 story new temple is very specious and gives amazing vibes. There is also Small Palitana Taleti made beside the main temple. It has large parking area ans also Dharamshala to stay and Bhojanahala with Navkarshi, Lunch and Choviar facilities. Thousands of pilgrims come here every Saturday.
