I was referred to Dr. Uddhav Raj Dudhedia by my gynecologist after being diagnosed with cysts in both ovaries and a uterine polyp. Two people I know had also highly recommended him and after my experience, I can completely see why. Since this was my first surgery, I was very nervous. What immediately stood out was how approachable he was. He never felt intimidating, took the time to answer every question patiently and explained everything so clearly. He even used diagrams with different coloured pens during consultations, which made it so much easier to understand what was happening. One thing I really appreciated was how observant and thorough he was. I had always assumed my bleeding and cramps were normal, but he explained that they were actually heavier and more painful than they should be. It was genuinely eye opening and made me realise how easily women’s health issues get normalised without us fully understanding them. He recommended robotic laparoscopy along with hysteroscopy for my case. I was initially unsure because I had heard people suggest regular laparoscopy, but he explained why this would be the better option for me, and I’m very glad I trusted that recommendation. My recovery has been smooth and faster than I expected. My stay was supposed to be 4 days but ended up becoming 12 days because I developed a fever after surgery. This could have been very stressful, but it was handled quickly and carefully. I was closely monitored and only discharged once I was fully okay, which gave me a lot of reassurance. I also want to mention Dr. Anukriti, who was wonderful throughout my hospital stay. She was actively involved in my treatment and recovery, closely monitored my progress, was always available for questions and handled everything with so much warmth and professionalism. A quick mention as well to Manjushri, who was always prompt and efficient in coordinating appointments. The entire team was responsive throughout and even the discharge process was made smoother despite insurance delays. Every decision felt centred around what was genuinely best for my recovery. I felt informed, looked after and in safe hands throughout. I’m extremely grateful for the care I received and would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Uddhav Raj Dudhedia and his team.
