Had an absolutely amazing luxury dining experience at FUMI, Hotel Sahara Star during the Hanami Spring Festival 🌸✨ 📅 15th May – 31st May 2026 The ambience was elegant, vibrant and truly immersive. Every dish from the festival menu was beautifully crafted and full of authentic Asian flavours. Loved the Vegetable & Prawns Dumpling Soups, crispy Wasabi Prawns, delicious Prawns Gyoza, flavourful Yangzhou Fried Rice, Singapuri Noodles and the indulgent Mango Sticky Rice & Ginger Chocolate Mousse. What made the evening even more special was the outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. A big thank you to Chef Raju, Manager Ameer, Mixologist Amey and the entire FUMI team for making us feel so welcomed and valued throughout the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium Asian fine dining experience in Mumbai. Truly unforgettable 🥂

Visited this Asian restaurant recently and had a lovely experience. The sushi and dimsum were the highlights of the meal — fresh, well-balanced flavors and beautifully presented. The sushi was perfectly rolled with great quality ingredients, and the dimsum was soft, juicy, and steamed just right. The ambience was calm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy Asian cuisine at a relaxed pace. Service was prompt and courteous, adding to the overall experience. A must-visit spot if you’re a sushi and dimsum lover and enjoy authentic Asian flavors. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu!

Visited Fumi at Sahara Star and tried their newly launched set menu and wow, what a delicious experience! Every dish was flavorful, perfectly portioned and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and the vibe of the place just elevates the whole meal. Definitely worth trying!

Fumi at Sahara Star is a dreamy restaurant for sure with its ambiance and vibe - Located inside Hotel Sahara Star this place is definitely a must visit for Asian food lovers ! We went for an early evening dinner and had a gala of a time seeing the chefs freshly prepare everything we ordered! A small brief on what we tried here : We had a lovely Mocktail named Tropical Sunrise to start with. The Dimsum Sampler was a good choice with 4 different varieties of nonveg options (Prawns Gyozo/Prawns Suimai/Chicken & Prawns Crystal/Basil Chicken) In Appetizers we loved the Crispy Fish in Chinese style and Wok Fried Fragrant Chickens - Loved it! We also enjoyed the freshly steamed Baos and tried Barbecue Pork & Dynamite Prawns - Recommended! We ordered for quite some main course options such as Steamed Sea Bass, Wok Tossed Lamb Chops, Chicken Clay pot along with Burnt Garlic Chicken fried rice - Completely Satisfying! Finally from the Dessert section we tried the Lemongrass Custard with Tropical Fruits & Creme Brulee! Both desserts were top notch in taste & presentation 👌 The service was good and food was impeccable - We would love to be back again!

I can't belive this place is in mumbai. so pretty and scrumptious food. authentic pan asian cuisine and breathtaking ambience. they have lip smacking mocktails. tropical sunrise was so refreshing. I tried their avocado cream cheese sushi which was really good. would recommend you to try their dimsum sampler and sushi boat. both are good in presentation and taste. dimsum s were so flavourful. I loved the avocado cream dimsum and chilli cheese dimsum. do not forget to try their dessert. lemongrass custard with tropical fruit. it was so good looking and so delicious.
