I had a phone consultation with this doctor about 10 days...

I had a phone consultation with this doctor about 10 days ago. Based on her website and instagram profile, I thought she would be a good person to consult with. From the beginning, we did not start off on the right track. Firstly, she was almost an hour late for our appointment. I had left my work early and rushed home to be there on time only to wait an hour for her ! Next, when she came on the camera, she did not even apologize for her lack of punctuality and started interrogating me right away to get through her check list of questions. Never once did she smile or attempt to acknowledge me as a fellow human being ! When I moved from the living room to the bedroom with my phone (I was expecting my husband home shortly and thought moving to the bedroom would allow me to have privacy), she literally scolded me for moving the phone camera because it was giving her a headache. I attempted to continue with the phone consultation despite her extremely condescending, rude and unprofessional behavior, but very soon it became evident to me that she was only keen on getting through her checklist of questions and talking over me rather than trying to understand me as a patient and connect with me as a human being. At this point I decided to cancel the consult as I did not want to waste my time, energy and money on this extremely RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL lady who should be ashamed to call herself a human being, let alone a doctor ! SHE IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE TO THE MEDICAL PROFESSION ! For the record, I myself am a doctor, trained in the United States and currently living in Chennai. One of the first things we are taught as doctors is to listen to the patient and first and foremost acknowledge them as a human being. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY ON THIS ATROCIOUS DOCTOR. SHE IS SHOCKINGLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP. AS A PATIENT AND A HUMAN BEING, YOU DESERVE MUCH MUCH BETTER !!
