We had a very disappointing experience during our visit. My 2.5-year-old nephew was understandably scared of getting an injection and started crying. Instead of handling the situation with patience or empathy, the doctor raised his voice and told the child to “shut up,” which was shocking and upsetting. Young children often need reassurance and a gentle approach in such situations. Unfortunately, the doctor’s behavior felt harsh and unprofessional, and it made the experience much more distressing for the child and our family. What was even more concerning was the complete lack of basic sensitivity while administering the injection it was done abruptly, with no attempt to calm or prepare the child. This kind of approach might be expected for an adult, but is completely unacceptable for a toddler. Medical professionals dealing with children should have the patience and understanding required for pediatric care, and this experience fell far below that standard. I would strongly urge other parents to be cautious. No child should have to go through such a frightening and dismissive experience in a place that is supposed to provide care and comfort.
