The quality has declined; no longer the local gem it used to be. I am a local here and have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a very long time. It saddens me to say that they seem to have forgotten their roots. In an effort to increase profit margins, they are clearly cutting corners on quality. I recently ordered the Pomfret Thali, and the fish fry was a massive disappointment—the plate was literally swimming in oil. Furthermore, they have started charging extra for small things like sonkari, which used to be part of the authentic experience. If you are visiting for the first time, you might not notice, but as someone who knows the original taste, the change is obvious. There are plenty of other great options nearby—I suggest you try those instead.
