The thali was an authentic gujarati thali, the sabzi and kadhi was too good, felt like having food prepared by a maharaj. Recommend this place for all veg. Thali lovers. Only disappointed because it is located in a basement.

I recently visited this Gujarati thali restaurant and absolutely loved the experience! The moment you walk in,you're greated with warm hospitality and a pure homely vibe. The thali was a delightful spread from welcome drink to soft Dhokla and mouthwatering ghughra with authentic seasonal undhiyu to perfectly balanced surti dal with amazing churma ladoo & lapsi was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. There chaas was to die for couldn't stop but stomach was full.๐ What truly stood was the friendly, smiling faces. You never leave hungry! If you are craving Gujarati food highly recommended for families and anyone who appreciates traditional flavors.

Just now came back home with a very sad heart and hungry stomach back from Tulsi thal. Pathetic service. They started serving us very late. As we went there itself we said we want khichdi instead of rice. They took so much time to serve the rotis. After finishing the rotis, we were looking out for the waiter to ask him to get kichdi. He was not around. After a long time he came and asked us whether we want rice or kichdi. This was the same guy whom we had already told that we want khichdi instead of rice. Then after an eternity he come with khichdi. The look itself was enough to say that it was uncooked. We ate one spoon of it and found that it was indeed uncooked. Told the guy about it. He asked us to wait for 5 more minutes. Which means it would surely take another eternity. Then the lady at the cash counter enquired about the matter. We told her. She too asked us to wait for sometime. How much can a person wait? We have not come to have free food, that each one keeps asking a person sitting in front of the plate, to keep waiting. We said we are leaving. We were totally upset. The shameless lady at the counter was very cool. No remorse, whatsoever. She was compensating for our waste of time, effort & mood by giving us some silly pan toffees when we paid the full amount to her. We paid and walked out. Very sad. God alone knows who gives so many stars to such disgusting outlets. We got duped by the 4.8 stars. I recommend people to not visit this place at all, if you do not want to get disappointed. The attitude of the lady upset me all the more. She looked so comfortable with all the fiasco. Must be daily affair. I feel whoever has given positive reviews must have been paid by the owners or must be their family members. But our special day got ruined. We had gone there to celebrate our silver engagement anniversary & my birthday, today. We should not have chosen such a random place. Should have gone to a reputed place. Never ever am I going there or will let anybody I know to go and have lunch at Tulsi Thaal. PATHETIC EXPERIENCE. VERY BAD. SPOIL OUR SPECIAL DAY.
