Roongmit is a hidden gem for anyone looking for authentic Nepali food. The flavors are rich, traditional, and truly capture the essence of Nepalese cuisine. Every dish tastes freshly prepared with quality ingredients and the perfect balance of spices. What impressed me the most was how authentic everything felt from the taste to the overall dining experience. The momos and other Nepali specialties were absolutely delicious and among the best I've had outside Nepal. The staff is welcoming, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you're craving genuine Nepali food, Roongmit is a must-visit. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be coming back!

Weโve been loyal fans of Roongmit since their roadside cart...
Weโve been loyal fans of Roongmit since their roadside cart days, and finally visiting their newly opened restaurant felt like watching a favorite story level up and theyโve absolutely nailed it. Every dish brought back that same authentic flavor we loved, just elevated with a better experience and presentation. The Alaska Roll Sushi and Prawns Tempura Sushi were fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. The Tokyo-style Karaage Chicken Bao was soft, juicy, and downright addictive. The Avocado Poke Bowl felt wholesome yet indulgent, while the Spicy Chicken Ramen delivered that comforting, rich kick you crave. From humble beginnings to a beautifully done space, Roongmit has kept its soul intact and thatโs what makes it special. A must-visit for anyone who loves great Asian food with a story.
We visited the Rongmit stall in Versova to try their ramen...
We visited the Rongmit stall in Versova to try their ramen bowl menu. Howevr, we were informed dat ramen was not available that day. Not sure about the exact reason, maybe a gas cylinder issue or something else. So we decided to order Chicken Sidu instead. The staff informed us that it would take some time to prepare, which we agreed to nd waited for around 15 to 20 mins. Wen it was served, it looked very tempting nd the filling seemed quite generous. But when we tried to lift it, we noticed that the chicken inside appeared pinkish, hinting its undercooked. Since it was our first time trying Sidu, we were not sure whether it was supposed to be served that way. The moment we took a bite, we immediately sensed a strong foul smell. The chicken was clearly raw and chewy. To be completely sure, we took another small bite or two and confirmed that it was indeed undercooked. We quietly discarded the food without complaining to the staff or the owner, as we did not want to create a scene or disturb the experience of others there. We paid the bill and left. Not planning to visit again anytime soon. But if we ever do, we might try their momos and will definitely request them to ensure the food is cooked properly before serving.

This spot is seriously one of the best and rarest street food places, with amazing food. I'm a regular now! You gotta try their Chicken and Veg Futomaki, Steam Momos, Kurkure Momos, Tandoor Momos, Cheese Fried Momos, and Wai Wai Laphing. The taste and quality are out of this world, you'll keep coming back. Prices are super fair, and the service is lightning fast. Plus, the owner and staff are so nice and treat everyone great.
