A decent spot to enjoy momos, with an overall satisfactory dining experience. The taste is good, though not particularly unique or standout. The staff is friendly and helpful, which adds a positive touch to the visit. However, the place can get quite crowded during weekend rush hours, leading to congestion and a less comfortable experience. Improvements are needed in hygiene and seating arrangements to enhance overall comfort. It’s a reasonable option for a quick bite, but visiting during non-peak hours would be a better choice.

Darjeeling Lepcha Momos has consistently been making good momos. It’s one of the two iconic places for momos in Versova, the other one being Suraj Lama. There’s always their staff outside the restaurant eager to help, you can place the order from the car and have them bring your order. Ambience is not the best, but amazing value for money quite honestly. What recommend specifically - Peri Peri Pan Fried Chicken Momos and Steamed Chicken Momos.

On a windy evening, I visited Darjeeling Lepcha Momo Outlet near Versova Beach. The outlet was crowded when I arrived, but we got seated within minutes. It is a small non AC setup with about 8 tables, so it can feel a bit packed during peak hours. I tried the Chicken Hariyali Tandoori Momo and Chicken Peri Peri Momo. The Hariyali Momo was prepared in the tandoor, which gave it a subtle smoky. The green chutney served alongside complemented it nicely. The Chicken Peri Peri Momo was fried and slightly oily on the outside. The peri peri coating was flavourful and evenly spiced, however the actual stuffing lacked the flavor and texture. It could have been more succulent and better seasoned to create a more balanced bite. I feel a well made Momo is flavourful from within, not just coated well on the outside. Overall, I would say it was a decent visit. Service was good and timely. Always packed and there is waiting time but I'm glad they have street stalls for people who come for far and don't want to wait just beside the restaurant, so a good business ideas. Very fast and prominent service really appreciate. Let's get to the food tried the chicken pahadi tandoor momo actually worth it for the price and amazing with good flavour. Secondly the cheese garlic burnt cheese momo just amazing if your a cheese lover must try, juicy and well accompanied with garlic flavour and cheese yes so my money is on this. Chicken and cheese momo was a bit of a disappointment as we were expecting chesse inside the momo but was shredded on top of the momo as it was normal chicken momo. But I will be back to try the rest of the dishes soon as this place has set a benchmark already.
