Visited Kerala Cafe and tried their parotta and prawns. The parotta felt a bit pre cooked, like it was just heated up, maybe not freshly made, though Iโm not completely sure. The prawns were good, definitely the only highlight of the meal In hindsight, I probably should have tried their thali as well, felt like I missed out on the complete experience.

Food was good. We had sadhya. Pineapple and tamarind pachadi were missing. Service was slow. Overall experience was good. Staff was polite but a little slow. The sadhya was unlimited. And pricing was decent. Bar is also available.

Customer Service: Extremely disappointing. The staff seemed in a rush to close and showed little interest in attending to customers. The attitude was unprofessional and far from acceptable for a dining establishment. Food Quality: We ordered two different chicken dishes expecting distinct flavors, as described on the menu. Unfortunately, both tasted very similar, as if the chicken had been pre-boiled and simply mixed into different gravies. This was quite underwhelming. Food Quantity: For a price of around โน400 per dish, the portion size did not justify the cost. It felt overpriced for what was served. Hidden Charges: A 10% โvoluntaryโ tip was added to the bill without prior consent. Given the poor service experience, this felt unreasonable and inappropriate. Overall Experience: This is a genuine review based on my experience visiting multiple restaurants in and around Mumbai. This was by far one of the worst experiences Iโve had, and unfortunately, I would not consider returning.

I request Google to give me option of giving zero stars! I have never had worse biryani than this i swear.. and i am pretty sure now that the management team is not from kerala neither their chef is a keralite! I request the owner to have a Thalassery biryani from any near by good restaurant and know how it tastes like! Have it from any road side shop also it will taste better than yours! I ordered Thalassery chicken biryani and prawns biryani.. if you are ordering the chicken biryani for your dog you may proceed with it because they give small 4 chicken bone only.. with hardly 1cm of meat attached with it.. the chicken parts you buy for your dog have 10 times more chicken meat than the amount you get in their chicken biryani! With some pathetic yellow rice which you will feel like giving out flavours like a spoiled biryani! Prawns biryani masala was edible compared to the chicken biryani.. but then it will have chunks of some ration rice kind of plain white rice with no salt even forget about masala.. it will turn to your worst nightmare in biryani guys.. trust me.. for the first time in life had to throw away the papadam because it was fried in tar oil i think.. I never thought people could attain such talents in cooking to spoil the papadam.. worst experience ever.. I have no idea what you are charging for.. is it for the ration rice used for making biryani, bone of chicken, or tar oil used for frying papadam or maybe even for the amount of water added in the curd with some free floating onions in it.. If you are thinking of having biryani from here trust me guys take a cooker put some rice in it and however you cook the rice it will taste better than their biryani rice.. and get some curd add 10 times water in it mix and have it.. it will taste better.. even they give the similar curd and rice! Thank me later for this advice.. Team Kerala cafe please remove biryani from your menu.. it is a sin to make people eat biryani which taste like this.. biryani is an emotion to many and you guys are creating mental trauma.. and for God sake order a Thalassery biryani and have it from somewhere else or just see some pictures from YouTube or Google! Cant comment on any other food from this restaurant because I had only these 2 and wouldn't be able to gather courage to have food a second time from them.. sorry guys.. had to give this review because can't afford others to get similar trauma.
