I would like to share my experience with this hospital...

I would like to share my experience with this hospital honestly so that other parents can be careful. Dr. Prafull Rane is polite and good to talk to, and we had heard many positive things about him. However, the hospital management and some staff members were extremely rude and unprofessional, Specially Women nurse with glasses in this hospital who always talking with Hindi Language she don't any manners how to talk with the Pasent in good manner, The hospital environment was also very noisy, which is not suitable for newborn babies. My son was admitted to the NICU in this hospital for around one week last month. Throughout the stay, Dr. Prafull kept informing us that our baby was active and doing fine. However, we strongly feel that the hospital unnecessarily kept us for two extra days only to increase the final bill. After discharge, we cleared the entire payment, but the hospital refused to provide the final bill immediately and asked us to collect it after three days. When we finally received the bill, we noticed several incorrect and unnecessary charges, including: If the hospital already charged ₹7,000 for RMO services, then why was an additional ₹2,000 charged as an emergency fee? And if the emergency admission charge of ₹2,000 was already included, then what was the need to charge another ₹7,000 separately for RMO services? Two days of baby treatment charges added under the mother’s bed charges, which were not covered by insurance. Most importantly, no signature was taken from the patient or family for approval of the final bill. Normally, a final bill should be verified and signed before payment. When we submitted the hospital bill to the insurance company for reimbursement, the insurance company rejected the claim because there were errors in the bill. The company asked us to obtain a corrected bill from the hospital, but the hospital clearly refused to provide a revised bill. As a result, we had to suffer a loss of ₹15,000. I would strongly advise everyone to carefully check the final bill two or three times before making payment. Once the payment is done, the hospital staff may not provide proper support or corrections. Dr. Prafull is only available in the hospital occasionally. Most of the time, he is unavailable, and the patients are mainly handled by assistant doctors and nurse in charge on duty. In my personal experience, I would not recommend admitting newborn babies to this hospital. Instead, I would recommend Vikas Children Hospital. It is open 24 hours, has experienced doctors since 1986, and the staff and doctors there are very professional and supportive. Dear Dr. Prafull, you have a good reputation among patients, but I sincerely request you to improve the behavior and professionalism of some staff members. Their rude attitude and poor handling of patients create mental stress for families already going through difficult situations. Hospital positive reviews appear misleading and do not match the actual patient experience. Also during the night, there is often nobody available at the reception counter. Overall, our experience was very disappointing and stressful.
