This has been my first experience with Sweet Home Bakery by Zoya Mulla and I’m sure there’s going to be more. I’m not the one who usually shops blindly just for sake of filling in the need. People who know me would know that I always do my thorough research before I buy something even if it’s minimal. I had seen a few of my friends post about her cake reviews and had even checked online, the least I could say is I had already shortlisted this place for the right time. It was for my bday that I hadn’t planned anything for but had to push in last minute as my close friends and cousins decided to not let go. So I knew I had to get a really good quality cake within a day. I called up Zoya to ask if whether she could get me a cake ready in a short notice (called up at around 9pm to get a cake ready by next day 6pm), it was my very first interaction with her. I honestly had backup plans like going to the town to a gourmet cake store and buying a cake cause usually the homebakers don’t entertain orders in such a short notice. My first impression about Zoya was that she was very kind, flexible and accomplished. She agreed. I didn’t have much demands though. Asked her to keep it simple and in whatever flavour was available due to sourcing of the ingredients. She sent me a list of available flavours and I chose Nutella Hazelnut 1kg cake. No too many calls messages or bothering. Very professionally she took up the task and completed on time. My cake was ready the next day by 6pm as promised. THE MAIN PART- My guests LOVED the cake !! They were indulgent as I could see. The quality of the products used were rich as one could easily tell. Though I ordered for a 1kg cake it was definitely 1.5 so the quantity was good enough too. The rich chocolate plus the crunch of fresh good quality hazelnuts were a hit. I’m just very happy and impressed with my overall experience. It’s a double thumbs up from me 👍🏼👍🏼
