Took my car for AC servicing and was initially told it would cost ₹3,500. Later, I received a call saying a part needed to be replaced, and the cost would be around ₹5,000. However, when I went to pick up my car, the final bill was ₹8,600! I was completely shocked at how much it had gone up. When I questioned it, I was simply told, “This is how much it is.” Left with no choice, I paid ₹8,000 and left. Truly a pathetic experience—there was no clear communication about the rising costs. Please be cautious and always ask for a complete cost estimate in advance before agreeing to any repairs! My reply to the owners reply: 1. First and foremost, the cost of the additional component was never communicated to me in writing—neither via message nor email. I was simply told by Mr. Roshanlal, “Don’t worry sir, it will be done within INR 5000,” and that the total bill would not exceed this amount. I trusted his word only because your workshop came highly recommended by a close friend. 2.Secondly, no written invoice was provided to me when I collected the car. Additionally, the old parts that were replaced were not returned or placed in the boot of my car, which is a standard practice at most reputable workshops. I must point out that your reply contains misleading information. I respectfully request that you verify the facts before responding to customers.
