I am writing this review to highlight a very concerning and distressing experience with my 1.5-year-old daughter, who was admitted on 3rd April 2026 for dehydration and a stomach infection. The first day of treatment went smoothly, and even on the second day, she was stable and improving. However, in the evening, a serious incident occurred. Since my daughter would only allow an IV to be administered while asleep, I requested the nurse to insert it while she was sleeping. The first nurse was unable to get the IV running properly, acknowledged the issue, and left saying another nurse would attend. A second nurse then administered three injections through the same IV line. This caused my daughter severe pain, and she cried inconsolably—very unlike her condition over the previous day and a half. After this, I was told I could feed her. She settled down, started playing, and seemed stable. I briefly stepped out to speak with the doctor and requested a shift to oral medication due to her discomfort with the IV, and the doctor agreed. However, within just 5 minutes of my return, my daughter’s condition suddenly deteriorated—she began shivering, and her lips, hands, and legs turned bluish/blackish. She was immediately rushed to the ICU. We were given multiple explanations such as dehydration or excessive crying. However, after discussing this incident with 2–3 independent doctors known to us, we were informed that this appears to be a clear case of negligence and not consistent with dehydration or crying alone. It strongly indicates that the IV line may not have been functioning properly or had been displaced, yet medications were still administered through it. What was equally concerning was the response from a staff member named Mr. Hem, who appeared to be in a position of responsibility. When I raised this incident with him the next day, his response was highly inappropriate and alarming—he stated that if the reaction had been due to medication, “we could have lost the child,” which only added to our distress rather than providing clarity or reassurance. His communication reflected a lack of sensitivity and professionalism in handling such a serious situation. This entire experience was extremely traumatic for our family. A child who was recovering deteriorated within minutes under hospital care. Worst experience, unqualified staff, lack of knowledges, please do not consider this hospital in case of emergency.
