You're not allowed to talk to other members inside. You're not allowed to work out alongside someone you know. If a fellow member asks for your help and you help them, the trainers will stare you down and report you to the owner like you committed a crime and the owner will 100% side with the trainer, no questions asked. Speaking of trainers they completely ignore beginners doing exercises incorrectly. Want proper guidance? Pay extra for personal training. But don't worry, those same trainers will waltz into the middle of an ongoing group workout to accommodate their paying clients something regular members are strictly forbidden from doing. This place has rules for customers and a completely different set of rules for staff. Avoid it.

Very disappointing and concerning culture at The Body Project Gym, I was just about to join the gym but till then I got to know that a member was reportedly denied membership renewal because he was helping and guiding fellow gym members during workouts. The reason allegedly given was that such guidance was affecting the gymโs personal training business and reducing potential PT clients. If this is true, it raises serious concerns for every member. And i am a person who is a beginner and obviously I need someone to help me at the start and i cant afford to keep a personal trainer for myself. If I am joining and i then am not allowed to have friends or ask anyone anything then it would be so dumb joining here....A gym should be a place where people support, motivate, and learn from each other. Denying renewal to someone simply because they share fitness knowledge with fellow members creates a toxic and insecure environment. When I enquired most of the people said not to join this GYM because of such behaviour, and i think people go to Gym to socialize themselves rather than isolating. What is even more worrying is that if this can happen to one member today, it can happen to any member tomorrow. Many experienced gym-goers naturally help beginners with form, technique, or motivation without charging money or claiming to be trainers. Treating such interactions as a business threat reflects poorly on the managementโs priorities. Instead of focusing on member satisfaction, retention, and building a strong fitness community, it appears the emphasis is being placed solely on protecting personal training revenue. A gym membership is a service paid for by members, not a privilege that can be arbitrarily denied. This incident leaves a very negative impression about the managementโs attitude toward its own members.

The gym is excellent if you are experienced and already know about workouts. But if you are a beginner, taking admission in this gym is a red flagโdonโt do it. Unfortunately, I was a beginner with zero knowledge about gym and workout routines. After paying the full-year fees, I went to the gym on my first day feeling excited. I approached a trainer named Mangesh and asked what I should do since it was my first day, but I was completely ignored. I asked him multiple times to guide me or give me a workout plan, but he didnโt respond. Even the gym executive, Pallavi, had said that I would be trained for one week by a trainer. However, despite multiple complaints, I was still ignored. Since I had already paid the fees, I had no choice but to learn everything about workouts and gym routines from YouTube. So, listen carefully: if you pay the trainer for personal training (PT), only then will they pay attention to you. Otherwise, you donโt exist there. โBy explaining my concern to Raj Sir (the owner), he politely listened to my problem and tried to resolve it. This was a great gesture from his side. The gym equipment is excellent, and the washrooms are hygienic. Raj Sir and his team have taken this issue seriously, and they are now the best gym in Sion.โ

After undergoing multiple surgeries last year, my physiotherapist advised me to join a gym for rehab and strength building. I signed up at The Body Project Gym, and itโs been great journey till now. Iโve been training with Shrikant sir, and the progress Iโve seen has been incredible. He understands my limitations, tailors every workout to my recovery needs, and pushes me just the right amount. His knowledge, patience, and focus on proper form have helped me regain strength and confidence. The gym has a great environment, supportive staff, and all the equipment needed for safe and effective training.
