I had an absolutely horrible experience at Liberty Book Store, Santacruz West. I was sold a burst and damaged book, which should never be given to any customer. When I went back and requested an exchange—even with a different subject book—the salesman flatly refused. What made the situation worse was the arrogant, rude, and unprofessional behavior of the salesperson. Instead of accepting their mistake, he argued, showed zero respect, and clearly did not care about customer satisfaction. No apology, no solution, no basic courtesy. This store has no ethics, no quality control, and no customer service standards. Selling damaged books and then refusing an exchange is completely unacceptable. I strongly warn others to avoid Liberty Book Store, Santacruz West. Check every single page before buying, or better yet, buy your books from somewhere that actually respects customers.
