I've been a regular customer at Mahesh Dry Fruits stores since my college days, and it used to be one of the best stores for getting everything under one roof, with good customer service and polite staff. However, in recent years, their approach, quality, and service have deteriorated significantly. Poor packaging/low standards - For the third time in a row, hair strands were discovered in the packaging (Plain makhana, paratha, chikki). Pushy marketing - Sometimes the counter boys are quite annoying because they push you to buy things as if we are new and unaware; I've told them several times to avoid such activities and let the customer decide. Poor quality - You spend 1800-2400/kg on dry fruits and obviously good quality is expected, but last few occasions the nuts are of poor quality even the makhana's. Incorrect Billing - The most important factor that led to my loss of trust and the purpose to call out was billing; on a few occasions, we discovered that billing was done incorrectly and very cleverly. For example, when I asked why the amount of the person ahead of me was added to my bill, the staff said it was due to machine error, but I doubt that when it happens repeatedly. We all believe in you and your products, so please raise your standards and rethink your staff and service.
