I’m 35. So far I must have joined and given free money to at least 4-5 driving schools. Free money because none gave me enough confidence to drive on my own. This time when I joined one again, mostly for the paper work and support they provide for liscene - immediately after completing their classes and before appearing for driving test at liscence office I reached out to Rajesh uncle. He happily agreed to accomodate me whenever he had cancellations because I had time constraint and needed the confidence for liscence. Within 2-3 classes with him I was ready enough and passed the driving test. Now what I needed was confidence and his son then would accompany me and make sure to take me to the places like Powai where I could have exposure of hilly terrain like roads, he would make me stop the vehicle on top of the hil and start again to build the memory muscles of taking a jerk before leaving clutch etc. Rajesh uncle made me drive at 4am and also 6-7pm wala bheed that too in the lanes of places like Ghatkopar khaugali or say dadar flower market in early mornings. All of this helped me in a way that I took car even to place like Pawana lake as my first ever long drive and I am alive without any kharoch. All it takes is the courage and patience to sit beside a new driver and pick up on what’s the need is and teach them accordingly which both Jay and Rajesh uncle know to do beautifully. If you are looking for driving class, aankhe band krke laga lo. Also, even after classes were done, he didn’t ask for money. It’s me who is behind him asking for hisab so I can pay timely. Rare are such species in the today’s world. Thank you both Rajesh uncle and Jay!
