This is my first time visiting India, and Iโm so glad we found this gem. The Owner/Chef is incredibly welcoming; he personally helped us order and explained the flavors with such passion. We are from Taiwan and have tried many top-tier Indian restaurants back home, like Saffron (็ช็ด ่ฑ), Taj (ๆณฐๅงฌ), and Mayur (้ฆฌๅๅ). But the Gosht Lucknowi Dum Biryani here is on a whole different level. My friend even said itโs 10 times better! โข The Mutton: Iโve never had mutton this tender. Itโs perfectly marinated and practically falls apart. You can really taste the "Kung Fu" the Chef puts into the slow-cooking. โข The Sauce: That rich, golden gravy isn't just a sauce; it's a concentration of slow-cooked onions and spices that melt in your mouth. โข The Pro Move: Make sure to mix in the spicy yogurt raita. It cuts through the richness and adds a whole new layer of flavor to the fragrant rice. If you want a meal made with genuine heart and soul, this is the place. A huge thank you to the Chef for such a warm welcome to India!

Our first meal in Mumbai turned out to be an absolute gem! ๐ฝ๏ธ We visited a small restaurant with a cozy sitting area that can accommodate around 10 people, but the food was truly 1001%. We started with two types of kebabs โ super tasty, juicy, and full of flavor ๐คค. Then came the curry with fresh naan, and everything was prepared fresh and served hot. You can really taste the quality and effort in every bite. Small place, big flavors! ๐ฏ Really enjoyed our first meal in Mumbai and would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for authentic, freshly prepared food.

A very popular kebab & biryani restaurant just next to Khar station West. It is very small joint with about five small tables. It is air-conditioned but a little cramped to sit. If tables are occupied then be prepared to wait for a table. Service is also a bit slow as everything is freshly prepared after order is taken. Food is their positive point. The owner is friendly & sitting at counter. The chef moves around & takes the order. We tried chicken raezala kebabs which were fresh & tasty with tandoori rotis. Also tried the gohst Lucknowi dum biryani which was also good but taste was not as per our expectations. On the whole a good place to visit if in Khar area.

Iโm a North Indian living in Mumbai, and everyone knows that Mumbai doesnโt really do good North Indian food unless itโs fancy. Most days you just adjust, but some days you really miss proper food. Thatโs exactly the kind of day I found Bombay Curry and honestly Iโm so glad I did. This place feels so homely. Itโs the kind of place you go to on a random night when youโve had a bad day, youโre tired and you just want something that feels like home. We ordered butter chicken, garlic naan and seekh kebab and every single thing was a straight 10/10. The butter chicken was rich and comforting, the garlic naan was soft and perfect and the seekh kebabs were juicy and full of flavour. What makes it even more special is knowing that the chefs are from Lucknow and Rajasthan because you can genuinely taste that authenticity in the food. And the chef/owner himself was easily one of the most friendly and nicest chefs Iโve ever met. Warm, welcoming and clearly cooking with a lot of love. Bombay Curry feels like a hug on a plate.

Absolutely loved the food at The Bombay Curry! For the 1st time we saw a chef personally taking orders and preparing them for us. We were already in heaven. The moment came when food was served it was mind blowing. We had chicken Angara , Chicken Malai kebab, Luckowi Murgh Makhani, Dhaniwal Korma & Hyderabadi dum biryani. I absolutely loved the chicken angara starter. Easily one of the best, juiciest and most succulent chicken Iโve ever had. Not to forget the Hyderabad biryani and Dhaniwal Korma Soooo good! Also had a lovely conversation with Chef Kunal Nagpal and got to know about his story and how he started the restaurant. Food, ambience, staff- Awesome, definitely recommended
