My experience purchasing the VinFast VF6 from the VinFast South Mumbai Showroom was extremely disappointing and stressful. Initially, when I visited the showroom and saw the car, I was impressed by the design and finishing. I believed VinFast was a reputed international brand and expected professional service. Unfortunately, the actual experience after booking and delivery was completely opposite. One of the biggest issues was during the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection). Initially, they were not even ready to allow proper PDI. After repeated arguments and follow-ups, they finally allowed it, but with unnecessary restrictions. They did not allow a professional PDI expert, and they also restricted entry to only one person. Such behavior creates doubt and reduces customer confidence. A customer spending such a huge amount should have full transparency during inspection. The dealer staff were not responsive, avoided answering questions properly, and did not seem to care about customer satisfaction. They initially forced me to take insurance only from them and were not willing to allow my own insurance. After repeated discussions, they finally agreed. The accessories experience was also misleading. I only wanted floor mats and trunk mats separately, and the salesperson clearly said it would be possible. But after delivery, they changed their statement and started forcing me to buy the complete accessories kit at a high price with many unnecessary items. Even the FASTag commitment was misleading. They promised full balance amount in the FASTag, but deductions were already made before handover. It may not be a huge amount, but such behavior creates distrust. Another major disappointment is the real-world driving range. At the time of selling, they spoke about getting around 380–400 km range, but the actual experience is very different. Even the delivery experience was poor. When I first saw the display car, the finishing and presentation looked excellent, but at the time of delivery my car had dust and lacked proper finishing checks. I also sent multiple complaint emails to the company, but there was no proper response or satisfactory resolution. Since this is the only dealer in Mumbai, I thought purchasing locally would provide better support and convenience. Unfortunately, my experience proved otherwise. I request future buyers to be extremely careful before purchasing from this dealer. Please take every promise in writing. Personally, after my experience, I would advise people to think many times before buying this car or dealing with this showroom.
