As pharmacy students, this field experience provided invaluable insights into public health at the grassroots level. We observed firsthand how financial constraints directly impact a child's access to both basic nutrition and education. Coordinating a structured event with an established NGO also honed our organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. The outreach program at Shelar Pada was successfully executed. The initiative not only brought immediate joy and essential resources to the children but also fulfilled our academic mandate to actively participate in social and preventive community care. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Umang Foundation Trust for facilitating this impactful collaboration.
