From the pioneering days when they became the first to rent costumes to the entire cast of the first-ever Bollywood movie, to today’s vibrant cultural celebrations, their journey is nothing short of legendary. At the helm of this legacy is the dynamic and charming Ms. Sarika Punjabi, whose agility, resilience, and professionalism have kept this family business alive and flourishing. Her patience and passion shine through in every detail – even in managing the moods, mischief, and tantrums of children with grace and warmth. 🌸 My First Visit – A Republic Day Surprise 🌸 On 26th January 2026, during our Republic Day celebrations, the children of our society staged a surprise dance performance to the timeless song: “Madhuban mein jo Kanhaiya kisi gopi se mile…” Clad in the traditional costumes provided by Maganlal Dresswala, the children transformed the atmosphere into one of pomp, gaiety, and glittering festivity. - Their white turbans, kurta& Dhoti pyjamas, vests, and red waistbands radiated purity and tradition along with colorful and shimmering ghagra choli for little girls. - The colorful balloons and festive backdrop amplified the joy of the occasion. - The children’s innocent smiles and graceful dance moves brought alive the moods of devotion, celebration, and unity. It was a spectacle where heritage met modern festivity, and the costumes became the bridge between tradition and performance. 🌟 Legacy That Inspires 🌟 Maganlal Dresswala is not just a costume house – it is a living institution of Indian cinema and culture.
