I recently visited Veranda around 4 PM, and the first thing to note is that the kitchen was partially closed at that time, which limited a few options. Still, we managed to order a decent variety of dishes. We tried prawns thecha, chicken 65, chicken tenders, pizza, pasta, and Hakka noodles. Most of the food was actually good and enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was definitely the prawns thecha, easily the best dish on the table. It was flavorful, well-cooked, and something I’d genuinely go back for. The pizza and pasta were nice, chicken 65 was solid, and overall the food quality was pretty satisfying. But the Hakka noodles were a letdown. They had a strong smell, likely from the egg and chicken, which made it hard to enjoy the dish. Another downside was the timing of the chicken tenders. They arrived way too late, almost after we were done eating everything else, which kind of ruined the flow of the meal. That said, the ambience is where Veranda really stands out. The place looks amazing, has a great vibe, and the location is perfect for a chill outing in Bandra. Overall, it’s a good place with great ambience and mostly good food, but a few issues with timing and consistency in dishes hold it back slightly.
