Unethical & Disrespectful Service We had a horrible experience at this hotel. We were made to wait at the reception for over 45 minutes for check-in despite reaching on time. The worst part: we saw multiple customers who arrived after us being given rooms immediately just because they gave extra money (tip) to one of their staff member. So basically, if you don’t bribe them, you wait. This is blatant favoritism and extremely unprofessional. We felt insulted and cheated. Management needs to fix this corrupt practice. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values fair treatment and basic respect.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Food Quality, Inadequate Quantity, and Unsatisfactory Service I wish to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent order from Hot & Spice Restaurant, Nalasopara West (Patankar Park, opposite HDFC Bank). I placed an order for 5 Chinese dishes amounting to ₹1,491 including GST: • Chicken Dragon Rice – ₹290 • Chicken Pot Rice – ₹280 • Hot & Spice Special Fried Rice – ₹290 • Chicken Burnt Garlic Chilly Rice – ₹280 • Prawns Fried Rice – ₹280 I waited approximately 90 minutes outside the restaurant to collect the order. However, the food delivered was significantly below expected standards. Despite ordering multiple chicken dishes, each gravy box contained only one very small chicken piece, while most rice dishes had no chicken at all. The quantity provided was extremely inadequate compared to the prices charged. The food quality, portion size, and presentation did not match the expected standard associated with the dishes ordered. This caused inconvenience, disappointment, and embarrassment as the order had been arranged for guests. Considering the amount charged and the waiting time involved, the service and product delivered were highly unsatisfactory. I request appropriate attention to food quality, quantity, and customer service standards to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

I recently visited Hot & Spice and had a mixed experience. The Chinese food here is genuinely very good—great taste, decent portions, and good quality ingredients. Definitely a place you can visit if you’re craving flavorful Chinese dishes. However, the service is quite disappointing. The staff, especially the elderly person at the counter, comes across as rude and unwelcoming. Their behavior can make the overall experience unpleasant. In short, visit this place for the food, but be prepared to ignore the arrogance and lack of hospitality.

Utter nonsense place to be. Twice I did order for chicken triple sezwan fried rice which came with gravy and both the times the gravy was missing. No apologies whatsoever when asked the reason and to add salt to injury, just now I ordered for Chicken Fried Rice, Chkn Triple Sezwan fried rice and prawns satay. The attendant who answered my call said I cannot deliver the food to your place which is in nallasopara west at samelpada. Worst experience ever. Though the guys are from my hometown mangaluru but I am really ashamed to call these people from my hometown. Cherry on the cake they had already delivered to my location not even a week back. When asked the reason the person who attended my call just denied saying cannot deliver without any reasoning and asked me to pick it up. Be very careful of such people. They are not fit for the purpose at all. Double standards at its best. Hope their top management reads this and all who read reviews also go through this to know the inside story. I had ordered for food almost amounting to 1k and this is what I get in return. I guess they want me to own their restuarant. Having my last laugh on you. Ha Ha Ha 😂

The food is always excellent, and we get the same consistent taste every time we visit. The best part, though, is the staff they’re truly amazing, especially 'BALRAM' He is the best at Hot & Spice.
