I made my 7 year old daughter join the music school for...
I made my 7 year old daughter join the music school for piano in the month of Jan, had very high expectations that she will learn and continue her passion in music, but sadly I am writing this review to highlight how unprofessional the owner Mr. Akoi is and how he does not value small children's effort of coming weekly and learning inspite of their school and studies, and he did not even think twice to shut down the classes abruptly. He informed me via what's app that they will discontinue the classes and left us mid way. He being a professional teacher himself, he did not take the responsibility to give parents time to look out for some other classes, or even gave us any indication that he was closing the classes for good.It's very difficult to explain to a child as to why there are no classes and why they can not continue. It clearly discourages them from pursuing anything. What's app is not a mode of giving these kind of information. As a professional you need to be humble and have empathy for the child. I hope he has some remorse, and in future deal with situation like these with more empathy and consideration. No amount of explanation will justify of what you have done and how you have dealt with this delicate situation. MUSIC is a way for kids to express and release their already busy and loaded mind, which now clearly you have destroyed my daughters mindset. Thanks for the what's app message Mr. AKOI.
