I absolutely enjoyed the entire process with Ethereal for both my family weddings— right from how we communicated to how the team was present during every moment of both the weddings. Everything felt extremely smooth and easy with them. The output was what really moved us. It was something we didn’t expect at all, and it turned out to be so perfect we kept watching the films over and over again for newer emotions that we may have missed in the first glance and each time we were in absolute awe! Especially for Jay’s wedding — that one was very close to my heart, and seeing the film really, really moved me. Ethereal met that entire emotion “seeing a brother being wed from a sisters eye” so well. There’s not one moment that has been missed anywhere. From a photography point of view, it was exactly what I wanted and it was delivered! You guys have a certain color tone that’s so consistent across the whole album, It has an editorial way of capturing images that’s real and can go on the cover of Vogue. The imagery feels very fresh. The framing is very natural and the moments feel real, not posed. It’s all very fresh and tack-sharp. Even from the film’s direction point of view — it was done so beautifully. The way the moments and emotions were captured — it moves you to tears. The editing and the music were perfect. All in all I have a great experience with Ethereal - Darshan, Megha and all the others, you guys make a fantastic team! More power to you!!!

We honestly loved both the photos and the videos. I still remember when we first met - you mentioned how your goal is to capture the true emotions and vibe of the event, and you really did just that. Darshan, I was so impressed with your eye for detail. The way you picked up on the bond between me and my brother and wove that into the video honestly touched me - it meant a lot. We also really appreciated how you stayed true to your style but still made adjustments based on what we wanted. Every detail we asked for - the film length, the extra deliverables - you incorporated it all. And working with you guys was super chill, I felt really comfortable the whole time. Plus, considering how there’s never enough time during such events, we loved how you still made the most of the time you guys had. Honestly, I don’t have a single negative thing to say. I’d definitely recommend you to friends! Also we loved our coffee table book by the way. A big thank you to Darshan, Megha, and the entire Ethereal team for making our wedding memories so beautiful. ❤️ -Pooja & Nihal
Firstly, thank you for covering our wedding so beautifully....
Firstly, thank you for covering our wedding so beautifully. You guys did a wonderful job. Just watching the team navigate the space was amazing — the way you managed to get the angles you did while never being ‘in the way’ was so admirable. At weddings, photographers can sometimes feel like they take over the space, but with you it was the complete opposite. You gave so much thought to giving space, to letting things happen naturally, and still managing to capture it all. One of my favorite things is how you captured not just us, but everything around us. My family’s expressions, the crowd, the pre-setup of the mandap — these are things I didn’t even notice on the day, but now they mean so much to me. There’s a photo of my mom and me exchanging a look, something only she and I would understand, and you caught it perfectly. That’s the essence of our relationship in a single frame. Those moments are priceless. The tones and edits were also beautiful. They felt like memories themselves, almost like flashbacks in a film. I don’t know if you put presets on the images, but they worked wonderfully. The way you graded the colors, it made everything feel like a memory — the way flashbacks look in cinema. Not the usual black and white, but something richer, almost cinematic. It was beautiful, because it made me think of my own memories in that same way. I feel like a lot of good photography comes from a good place. The team didn’t just do justice to the fact that you’re making a living from this, but you truly wanted to capture the essence of the day. And that comes across in the photographs. Like I said, I wanted it to feel real. I wanted it to be more in the action of it rather than posed. I remember telling you during our brief that I wanted it to feel like Mom and Dad’s or even my grandparents’ wedding albums, when they didn’t know what was going on, they were just present, doing the rituals. Those old photographs are so genuine. You see the scared look on my grandmother’s face, or my parents’ faces as they tried to focus on the ceremony under all that family pressure. That’s the kind of authenticity I wanted. I didn’t want staged or curated images. I didn’t want to be told ‘look up while you’re doing this.’ I wanted to be present, and for the images to reflect that. And you gave me exactly that. A lot of the photographs you captured feel like memories — like when you shot just our hands, or the fire, or the priests preparing the setup. That’s what I was staring at, that’s what I remember. So when I look at those pictures now, I feel like I’m back there, living it again. Even the things I couldn’t see — like the expressions on my parents’ or brother’s faces, or my dad’s excitement in the background — you caught those perfectly. I wasn’t aware of them at the time, but now I can treasure them forever. That’s what makes these photographs so special.

We felt like the stars of the day, with your team being incredibly attentive and mindful of our comfort and needs. The little nudges you gave us when we got awkward stood out, your team even joined in on the silliness of posing, and yet the end result looked absolutely amazing. When we first saw the photos and film, our reaction was simply “Wow!” It instantly transported us back to that day, letting us relive the joy and excitement. Since the wedding itself passed by in a blur, seeing it through your eyes allowed us to cherish all the beautiful moments we might have missed. A big thank you to Darshan & the entire team at Ethereal Studio! 🙌

I found Ethereal Studios on Instagram while looking for wedding photography that felt natural and candid, nothing staged or over the top. Their work stood out to me instantly. They have a way of capturing both simplicity and grandeur without losing the soul of what wedding photography should be: timeless, heartfelt, and a true reflection of the beginning of a family’s story. Darshan and Megha went above and beyond from the very start. They understood that we wanted a small, intimate wedding and approached it with such sensitivity and discretion. They took the time to really understand our brief, understand our story, listened to our requests, and brought so much excitement and care to capturing the essence of our Vrindavan ceremony. Six months later, these photos are all the memories I have of my wedding day, and they bring me so much joy. They take me right back to those moments because they are completely unstaged and captured exactly as they unfolded. On the day they blended into the wedding so naturally that it felt like they were part of our guests. Darshan’s warmth, curiosity, and attention to detail meant we could be completely present and trust him to capture everything. Friends and family always comment on how candid and beautiful the photos are, and how they reflect the spirituality, simplicity, and emotion of the day. I am so grateful to Darshan and Megha for giving us these priceless memories and for becoming friends in the process.
