My wife Smt Usha Murthy started suffering from pain in her left knee in 2006. She used all sorts of Aurvedic, Allopathic & Kerala Oils to subside her pain. She was getting temporary relief but of no permanent relief. On one or two occassions she was administered with even steroid injections. Ultimately in the early months of 2022 her pain in her knee reached peak level and she was getting cracking noise while she was waking with a style of lame woman. Then, tired with all sorts of Doctors & Medicines, we met our Dr. Milind Sawant Sir who is a reputed consulting orthopadic surgen visiting Jupiter Hospital Thane. When we met Dr Sawant he examined meticulously, diagnoised accurately, explained & convinced my wife to undergo surgery. His skills in accurately dignosising the status of the patient are EXTRAORDINARY !. He also boosted enough courage in my wife who was very much reluctant to undergo for surgery fearing post surgery consequences. Finally, on 14-10-2022, my wife underwent TKR (Total Knee Replacement) surgical procedure which was operated by our expert Docter Milind Sawant in Jupiter Hospital. Surgery started at 10 am, lasted successfully for two to three hours and by afternoon she was brought to her room. Dr. Visited in the evening and made my wife to walk few steps (with the help of walker) in the room on the same evening. The Doctor's regulars visits for three days, both morning and evening, guiding her physiotherapy exercises made her to recover in four days and she was discharged on the evening of fourth day. Wihin two months, after regular physiotherapy, she could walk perfectly and do he household chores easily and confidently. We are thanking the Doctor for his extra ordinary deep Knowledge, Patientince and deep Study of the physical state of the patient and his Orthpopedical Surgical skills. It is not an exaggeration to state that he made an incision on my wife's knee during the surgery to the optimum minimum level and after surgery when we watch the scar made of her stiches on her knees looked like a thin line of 10 mm long line made by a pencil. ( and Today, after 4 years of surgery that scar of surgery-stichrs is hardly visible for a naked eye ).UTMOST post surgical care was taken by our Dr Sawant Sir by his frequent fortnightly, monthly follow-ups by administering suitable physiotherapical excercise and expet guidence. Now for last four years my wife experienced NO PAIN and she is walking and climbing stairs easily. SHE IS ABLE TO STAND FOR LONG HOURS IN KITCHEN AND PERFORM HER DAILY CHORES WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE OR PAIN. For last four years we were asked to follow up once in a year and today on 23-05-2026 Dr Sawant Sir examined her again and told us that ne wife's knee is absolutely perfect and she need to visit only after six years from today, that too if necessary. HATS OFF to Dr. Milind Sawant and thanks God we were placed in his SAFE hands ! What NOT, in ONE WORD we say if any person is suffering from Osteoarthritis, JUST PLACE HIM UNDER THE CARE OF Dr. SAWANT Sir and forget, THEN patient will surely return home cheerfully walking. I had a very positive experience with Dr Milind Sawant for my ACL reconstruction surgery. From the outset, he was kind, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, which made a significant difference as I was quite nervous about undergoing surgery. Before seeing Dr Sawant, I received mixed diagnoses from other doctors, which left me feeling confused about how to proceed. In contrast, his assessment was clear, well-explained, and ultimately proved to be completely accurate. This gave me full confidence in moving forward with the ACL reconstruction. Most importantly, his surgical skill is exceptional. I felt confident not only that the surgery was successful, but that it had been carried out to a very high standard.
