Absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Kshitij Ambegaonkar at Sai Dhan Hospital. I visited for severe neck and traps pain due to gym strain, hoping for professional medical advice. Instead, I was given an unsolicited moral lecture about how going to the gym is wrong and that doctors like him have to “suffer” because of patients like me. I went there for treatment, not judgment. What shocked me further was the recommendation for an unnecessary X-ray — something another qualified doctor later confirmed wasn’t required. He didn’t even prescribe medicine or explain what steps to take until I insisted. No guidance on dos or don’ts, exercises, or care was provided. And after all this, I was charged ₹2,000 — essentially for a moral lesson and forced diagnostics. The medicines were only written down after repeated requests. It felt more like a money-making setup than a healthcare facility, especially since he seems to push scans and tests without basis. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was infuriating and frankly unacceptable. I paid ₹2,000 not for medical care, but for an ego-driven lecture, a push for unnecessary tests, and zero genuine concern for my condition. It felt less like a consultation and more like a scripted sales pitch. This is not healthcare — it’s exploitation disguised as medicine. If you value your time, money, and dignity, stay far away from this clinic. There are far better doctors who actually listen, care, and treat patients with respect.
