As I reflect on the past seven years of my journey with Bharatanatyam, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and awe for my beloved Guru, Chaitali Madkaikar. Her founder-led institution, Nrityasadhana Dance Academy, has been a beacon of artistic excellence, warmth, and mentorship. Under her guidance, I have had the privilege of witnessing the beauty of this ancient dance form unfold before me. As my Guru, Chaitali Miss has been more than just a teacher. She has given us countless opportunities to present on stage in different festival, competitions, shows and many more events. Her mastery over Bharatanatyam is a testament to her dedication, passion, and commitment to preserving the art form. Her dance is a symphony of elegance, her choreography is an epitome of thought and beauty, precision, and emotion, as if the very essence of the dance has been distilled into every movement. Through her teachings, I have come to understand the profound connection between dance and spirituality, and the way in which this sacred art form can awaken us to our deepest selves. As I look back on my journey with my humble guru- Chaitali Madkaikar, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and appreciation for her tireless efforts to nurture and share her passion for Bharatanatyam.
