Tucked away near Churchgate, the Bhikha Behram Well is a quiet oasis amid Mumbaiโs bustle. Built in 1725 by the Parsi Philanthropist Mr. Bhikha Behram, this old freshwater well has stood the test of time, offering both water and solace to those who visit. Surrounded by trees and a peaceful enclosure, it feels like a step back in timeโa place where sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the worn stone floor. For the Parsi community, it remains a sacred spot for prayers and reflection, its calm presence untouched by the cityโs constant rush.

A fresh water well was dug in 1725. It is considered as a miracle since the water around is mostly brackish given the proximity to the sea. Parsi's consider this a sacred place and entrance to this is limited only to parsee community. One can see Parsees getting off at the Churchgate station stopping to pray at this well. They cover their head with a cloth and touch their heads against the wall near the well.
