One of the best places we've visited! ❤️ Food cha taste ekdam wow 😍, ambience khup peaceful ani beautiful hota, plus it's pet-friendly too 🐾. What we ordered: ✨ Chicken Koliwada – 10/10 ✨ Prawns Koliwada – 8/10 ✨ Bombil Fry – 9/10 ✨ Rice Bhakri – 10/10 ✨ Chicken Masala – 10/10 ✨ Indrayani Rice – 10/10 (absolute favorite! 🤤) ✨ Kharwas – 10/10 ✨ Gulab Jamun – 10/10 Staff pan khup friendly ani welcoming hota. This is a great place for sea food lovers, specially their starters. Although the prices are on the higher side, but is can be worth the taste. Their main course is not that good though...gravy dishes are watery and not upto the taste. Their kokam sherbet is welcome resprite but their solkadi was a bummer. Service is great, atmosphere was aesthic and overall good experience. If you sit outside, be prepared for flies buzzing around as this place is surrounded by trees as this is inside the Aarey colony. Their AC section is congested and can be an option for smaller groups. Must try: Prawns and Crab dishes

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (6/10) Tucked away in the greens of Aarey Colony, Hoy Maharaja Dhaba carries a rustic, countryside charm and gained quite a bit of attention through Instagram reels a few months ago. The ambience leans into a traditional Maharashtrian dhaba vibe, with both outdoor and indoor (AC seating). We opted for the outdoor section, which was fairly comfortable thanks to well-placed fans that kept the space airy. For food, we tried the pomfret fry and prawn fry. Both were fresh and decently spiced, making for a satisfactory meal. However, the flavours lacked the depth and authenticity you’d typically associate with coastal regions like Kashid or Dapoli. The soul curry was enjoyable and comforting, while the lemon soda and kokam sharbat were refreshing additions to the meal. The detailing from the cutlery box to the plates, tumblers, and even the salt and pepper dispensers-did add a nice traditional touch to the overall setting. That said, while the concept and ambience are appealing, the overall experience felt average and slightly overhyped. A decent visit, but not particularly memorable.
